LAUGHTER YOGA AT THE BEACH
SUN 5/5 9:30AM - 10:30AM
Investment: $25
Join Tammy for a full laughter workout! Laughter Yoga combines unconditional laughter with yogic breathing (pranayama). Guided laughter exercises create childlike playfulness, loosens the ego, and taps into creativity and spontaneity.
On the physiological level, you'll gain fresh oxygen and stimulate the diaphragm and abdominal muscles. This calms the nervous system, lowers stress levels, and gives you energy.
Laughter is also the shortest distance to connect with others!

COMMUNITY YOGA
SUN: 5/12 5:00PM - 6:00PM
Investment: $10
Join me, Gerri, for a special Mother's Day edition of YA's monthly community yoga. This one is personal.
In early March, my 80-year-old mother was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. My mother immediately started a new targeted chemotherapy treatment. And after only one round and four weeks later, she is in remission.
The treatment my mother received would not have been possible without the groundbreaking research of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and other organizations dedicated to finding a cure for leukemia and lymphoma.
We feel incredibly blessed and grateful for every day we get to spend with each other. This month's community yoga proceeds will be matched by YA and donated to LLS.
In addition, you can also check out YA's team fundraising page if you would like to donate.
TRE® FOR GRIEF WORKSHOP
SUN 5/19 11:30AM - 1:30PM
Investment: $55
Early bird discount - only $45 if registered by 5/12.
Unprocessed grief stays in the body, causing physical, mental, and emotional blockages. TRE® (tension-trauma release exercises) is a simple technique that activates neurogenic tremors to unwind these areas of constriction. This somatic process regulates and calms the nervous system, allowing us to feel more grounded and lighter in our energy. When we do not work through grief, we stay stuck in our pain, easily triggered, and unable to slow down a reactive state.
Highlights of this workshop:
-
Understanding how the body deals with grief and the path to healing
-
Guided meditation to practice interoception, the art of noticing felt sensations in the body
-
TRE®
-
Tools and resources
-
Next steps to continue the healing journey
"When stuck in the past we are stuck in our pain, in the future we are stuck in our fear. But when the heart opens, we are crystal clear. And this only occurs in the present."
