Most hot yoga studios use forced-air heating, but we use radiant infrared heating in ours.

What is radiant heat?

You know that feeling when you feel the sun's warmth directly on your skin? That's radiant heat.

Why we love it

It's the kind of heat that penetrates the body and helps detoxify the internal organs. It keeps the air around you pleasantly warm, so you get all the benefits from exercising with a warm body without getting exhausted from the heat.

Infrared heat stimulates your body to circulate blood more quickly, so while you exercise, your body relaxes and your muscles loosen, reducing the buildup of lactic acid and increasing muscle flexibility. Who doesn't love that!!!

How hot is hot?

Hot yoga studios are anywhere between 80-90 degrees with varying humidity. Bikram studios are 105 with 40% humidity. Our studio never goes above 90 degrees.

Sadly, it's not recommended, especially with radiant infrared heat. Non-heated prenatal yoga is awesome tho!
